The ellipse tool is used to draw circular shapes on forms. These shapes will print on each form. You might want to use an ellipse to frame different areas of the form.
Note: Ellipses, like other graphic objects, slow down the printing process because they use the graphics capabilities of your printer.
Order: Each object has an order number, the order in which the object prints on the form. You can directly modify the order number in this window. Ellipses with a fill color must have an order number smaller than any objects contained within them, or those objects will be obscured by the ellipse. Tell me more about object order .
Border: You can enter or select a thickness, in points, for the line that borders or defines the ellipse. You can also change the color of the ellipse border, by clicking the arrow button.
Fill Color: This specifies the color inside the ellipse. Click the arrow button to change the fill color.
Size and Location: This specifies size and position on the form for the ellipse. You can set the number of inches or centimeters from the top and/or left edge of the page. (Whether the number is in inches or centimeters depends on the display option you selected in the Options tab.) You can also set the height and the width of the ellipse, in inches or centimeters.
