Data Conversion Wizard-Switch to SmartPosting

How Do I...

The Switch to SmartPosting window of the Data Conversion Wizard allows you to change your posting method to SmartPosting. This posting method improves performance by allowing you to save transactions without waiting for them to post. The SmartPosting service will automatically post the transactions for you.

We recommend you use the SmartPosting posting method to get the best performance out of Sage 50 Quantum Accounting.

To change your posting method to SmartPosting (recommended):

Select the Yes radio button.
Click Next to go to the Data Conversion Wizard - Back Up window.

If you do not want to switch your posting method to SmartPosting:

Select the No radio button.
Click Next to go to the Data Conversion Wizard - Back Up window.

After converting your data, you may change your posting method at any time by going to Maintain>Company Information.
