Sage 50 provides sample company data that you can open and explore.
The sample company data allows you to examine company setup options and
to practice entering records and transactions. This is a great way to
introduce yourself to the features of Sage 50 without using your own
company data.

- Bellwether Garden
Supply: This is a retail and service company that demonstrates
Sage 50's inventory- and job-tracking capabilities.
- Stone Arbor Landscaping
(available only in Sage 50 Premium Accounting ):
This is a service company that demonstrates Sage 50's Time & Billing
features.
- Chase Ridge Holdings
(available only in Sage 50 Premium Accounting): This company
demonstrates Sage 50 Premium Accounting’s consolidated companies
feature. Chase Ridge Holdings is the parent company of both a retailer
(Bellwether Garden Supply) and a service company (Stone Arbor Landscaping).

- Bellwether Garden
Supply: This is a retail and service company that demonstrates

This is a service company that demonstrates Sage 50's Time & Billing
features.
- Chase Ridge Holdings:
This company demonstrates Sage 50 Premium’s consolidated
companies feature. Chase Ridge Holdings is the parent company of both a retailer (Bellwether Garden Supply) and a service company (Stone Arbor Landscaping).
- Sample Manufacturing/Distribution Company: This company demonstrates Sage 50's advanced manufacturing and distribution features.
- Sample Construction
Company: This company demonstrates
Sage 50's advanced construction features.
Sample company data is installed during Sage 50 setup, into subfolders
within the \Company folder. If you cannot locate or open the sample company
data, reinstall Sage 50, select the Advanced
Setup option, and choose to load the sample company data.
Open a sample company from the Sage 50 startup screen

Start Sage 50. Sage 50 displays the startup screen.
What if the startup screen does not open?
- Select the Explore
a sample company option.
- Choose a sample company, then click OK.
Open a sample company within Sage 50
- From the File
menu, select Open Company. If prompted, choose whether you want to keep the current company open or not. Sage 50
displays the Open Company
window.
- Select the name of the sample company you want
to open from the Company Name
list box, and click OK.
