Sage 50 displays the Start screen when you first open Sage 50. It allows you to choose whether you want to open a Sage 50 company, set up a new company, convert a QuickBooks or DacEasy company to the Sage 50 format, or work with a sample company.
From the Options menu, look at Start with Last Opened Company.
When there is a check mark next to this menu option, Sage 50 starts with the company that was last opened. If you want to see the Start screen, click this menu option to de-select it. If you want to start with the last opened company and skip the Start screen, click this menu option so that a checkmark appears to the left of it.
