If you are using Sage 50 Accounting on a network, every computer has its own Connection Manager installed on it. Every workstation refers to its own ConnectionManager.ini file to determine which port to use to connect to other Connection Managers on the network. If there are [clients] options in the ConnectionManager.ini file, the [clients] settings are used.

This section appears in the ConnectionManager.ini file if your company data is stored on another computer. It shows you the name of the computer on which the data is stored and the port used to connect to data. If you connect to multiple company files stored on different computers, there will be a list of computers in this section.
