Modify the Comparative Subsidiary Balance Sheet

If you are working with a consolidated company, use the Comparative Subsidiary Balance Sheet to compare figures between the subsidiary companies and the consolidated parent company, for the current fiscal year.

To modify the Comparative Subsidiary Balance Sheet report:

  1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre. Select Financials, Balance Sheet, and then Comparative Subsidiary.
  2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
  3. Enter the As At date.
  4. Select the subsidiary companies to include in the report. Click Select All to report on all companies in the list.
  5. Select how the information in the report should be displayed:
    • Amounts only shows the total value of subsidiary company accounts.
    • Percentage of consolidated parent shows columns for the value of the consolidated parent and subsidiary company accounts. It also includes the value of the subsidiary company accounts as a percentage of the total consolidated parent company accounts.
  6. (Optional) Select additional columns to include in the report:
    • Consolidated parent is automatically selected if you chose Percentage of consolidated parent above.
    • Parent shows total value of just parent company's accounts.
    • Other (unselected) subsidiaries shows the total value of all subsidiaries that were not selected above.
  7. (Optional) Customize the:

  9. Click OK to display the report.
