If you accept credit card payments:
If you want to accept pre-authorized debit payments, sign up with Sage 50 Accounting and set up your company and customer for pre-authorized debit payments.
To enter an order for a new customer, add the customer "on the fly".
Add or change the type of sales tax charged by choosing the List button in the Tax column. You can also change the type or amount of sales tax charged per item, or for the entire invoice.
If you select an inventory item or service that already appears on your inventory and services list in Sage 50 Accounting, the Account (Acct) box is filled automatically. If not, select the account that will record the item's value. Usually, you select a revenue account, in the 4000 range.
To allocate sales amounts to a project, click the Project Allocation toolbar button.
