The Email Options tab (Form Options window) is available for all forms that allow you to send email copies to either customers or vendors. These forms include

The Email Options tab lets you decide how you want to handle the printing of forms for either customers or vendors set up to receive email messages from you.

Actions

This group box has options that determine whether or not the form will be sent to appropriate customers or vendors as an email attachment or simply printed as a paper copy.

Send an email <form> only: Do not print a paper duplicate: Select this check box if you want to send the form as an attachment to appropriate customers or vendors but do not want Sage 50 to print duplicate paper versions of the form.

Send an email <form> and print a paper duplicate: Select this check box if you want to email the form to appropriate customers or vendors and also print paper duplicate versions of the form, which you can mail to the desired recipients.

Print a paper <form> and send an email duplicate: Select this check box if you want to print paper originals of the form for appropriate customers or vendors and also email duplicate copies of the forms to the same recipients. You can mail the originals to the recipients as desired.

Print only a paper copy: Select this check box if you want to print paper copies of the form only, not send it as email attachments.

Email Options

This group box lists the number of the first paper form to be printed and lets you change the number if desired. Also, you can choose to see each email onscreen before sending.

Number email <forms> differently starting with: If you want a different form number to appear on the versions that you email to your customers or vendors, enter the new number here.

Note: This option is not available for customer statements or collection letters.

Show me each email before sending: Select this if you want to see an onscreen version of each email being sent to appropriate customers or vendors. In this case, you'll be able to send each email individually after verifying the contents onscreen.
