Message: Not enough disk space

Problem:

This message may appear when you do not have enough disk space to complete a task.

Solution:

If you were trying to save your data

In the Home window, on the File menu, choose Save A Copy.
Save your company data onto another hard drive, if you have one, or onto another storage device (for example, a diskette or USB flash drive).
Free up space on your hard drive.
Copy the file you saved in step 1 into the folder in which you save your company data.

If you are trying to export a file or to exit from Sage 50 Accounting or from the icon window, check the amount of disk space you have. If you are running low, clear some space on the hard disk.

To prevent the condition from recurring, you should clear data and remove unneeded files more often. You may also need to purchase additional hard disk space.
