Insert or Modify a Link to a File or Web Address
Use the Insert Link option to link to supporting documents in invoices and general journal entries.
- In the transaction window, click the Insert a link icon on the toolbar.
- Select the option for a file on your computer or network.
- Click Browse and navigate to the file you want to link to.
- Click Save.
- In the transaction window, click the Insert a link icon on the toolbar.
- Select the Internet option.
- Copy the web address where the documents are stored and paste it into the box.
- Click Save.
Note: You can test the link by clicking Open link in browser.
- Open the menu beside the Insert a link icon.
- Select Change the link.
- Update the link and save.
- Open the menu beside the Insert a link icon.
- Select Remove the link.
- Confirm when Sage 50 Accounting prompts you.
- Open the menu beside the Insert a link icon.
- Select View file path or web address.
