The company you are trying to convert is unreadable or corrupt. Please correct this in QuickBooks and try again.

Sage 50 cannot read the QuickBooks company data file (COMPANY.QBW) you have selected. Before Sage 50 can convert your QuickBooks company to the Sage 50 format, you must correct the error in QuickBooks.

To avoid this error, try one of the following options:

• Open your company in QuickBooks. From the File menu, select Utilities. From the submenu, choose either Verify Data or Rebuild Data. You should back up your data before running either utility. For more information about these utilities, refer to your QuickBooks documentation or contact Intuit's technical support.
• Restore a backup of your QuickBooks data file.

If the QuickBooks data file is permanently damaged, you cannot convert the company to the Sage 50 format.
