Delete a User Role

Use this procedure to remove an existing role from the current Sage 50 company.

Note: You can delete a role only if no current Sage 50 users are assigned to that role.

From the Maintain menu, select Users, then Set Up Security. Sage 50 displays the User Security window.
In the grid at the middle of the window, select the role that you want to delete.
Select the Delete Role button.

If the role is not currently assigned to a Sage 50 user, a message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the role.

Click Yes to delete and return to the Users window.

If the role is currently assigned to a Sage 50 user or users, a message appears telling you that you can't delete the role.

Click OK. to close the message and return to the Users window.
