Sections (Report Styles Window)
How Do I...
The Report Styles window lets you format
the different report sections that appear on printed and displayed reports.
Below are the report sections you can format when you create
a new style or change an existing one:
- Report Print
Date: This prints the date and time on the left top corner of your
page. The page number appears in the right top corner of the page. The
date and page numbers do not appear when you send the report to the screen.
- Company Name:
This is the name of the company with which you're currently working.
- Title 1: You
can choose to show the primary report title. You can enter the text of
this report title on the Fonts
tab when setting up an individual report to be printed or displayed.
- Title 2: You
can choose to show the secondary report title you enter on the Fonts
tab when setting up an individual report.
-
Filter Settings: This displays,
at the top of the report, a statement about what options you chose on
the Filter
tab when setting up the report. For example, the following statement (outlined
in red) appears at the top of the Sales Rep Report.
- Field Title:
The field titles appear in the header of the report.
- Report Data: The
report data is the body of the report. It includes everything below the
header except for the report totals.
- Report Totals:
The report totals represent the total and subtotal fields.
