This window specifies the size, style, and color of fonts used in reports, financial statements, and forms.
Use Printer Fonts: This option is only available if you are printing Sage 50 forms. Rather than assign a specific font, select this option to have your printer assign the font, which causes your forms to print faster.
Font: Lists the installed fonts on your computer. Enter or select the name of the font from the drop-down list that you want to apply to the selected text or object. If a printer font (Type 1 or Postscript) is selected, the closest matching font on your computer will appear on your screen. If a display font (system or TrueType) font is selected, the display font is imitated and the closest matching font will be used for printing.
Font Style: Lists the available styles for the selected font (for example, Regular, Italic, Bold, or Bold Italic.). For example, you can make your subtotals italic and your totals bold on a financial statement.
Font Size: Lists the available point sizes for the selected font. Font sizes range from 8 points to 72 points.
Effects: Specifies whether the font should appear with strikeout marks or underlines.
Color: Specifies the available colors for the font. Select the arrow button to see your choices. If you have a color printer, you can indicate losses on statements in red.
Sample: Shows a sample of how text will appear with the selected font settings.
