An
error has occurred during the conversion; the process cannot continue.
Your system appears to be low on resources. Please correct this and try
again.
To get more memory to run the conversion, try the following suggestions. Test the conversion after completing each
step to see if it solves the problem.
- Close any other Windows programs that may be running.
This includes screen savers and virus checkers running in the background.
If you have several Windows programs open, you may find closing just one
or two will be sufficient.
- You can use ALT-TAB as a shortcut to move between
programs. After you close one or more of them, you can use ALT-TAB to
get back to Sage 50.
- Exit and restart Windows.
- Turn off any memory-resident programs, such as
a graphics capture program, that may be using memory.
- If your computer uses an 80386 or higher processor
chip, you may want to change the swap file settings using the 386 Enhanced
icon in the Windows Control Panel. You can use this icon to increase the
amount of virtual memory used by Sage 50. Refer to the Windows
user manual or the online help for the Control Panel for further information.
- Add more memory to your
computer. You need
at least 1 GB of RAM to run Sage 50.
