Constants are numbers that are used in expressions. Constants can only appear on the right side of an equal sign in an equation. Constants can contain digits and a decimal point (.), but cannot contain commas (,) or currency symbols ($). Constants do not have to contain a decimal point (.) but must contain at least one digit. If a constant does not contain a decimal point (.), it is considered to be a whole number.
