Printed work tickets can be used as the paper authorization for shops
to begin manufacturing assembly items. The tickets acknowledge that all
of the required materials are on hand and ready to build.
When you choose to print or preview a form, the preview and print filter screen appears. You do not have to make any changes to this screen. You can select the Print/Email or Print Preview button to print, email, or preview the form based on the default filter settings. However, if you want to change the filter selections, you may do so using the different tabs on the filter screen.
The Print/Email tab lets you select the criteria you
want to use to print the form.
Refresh List: Select this button to refresh the selection grid. You must select this button after opening the filter screen or making any changes to the filter selections to see the correct information in the grid.
Selection Grid: This grid shows all of the work tickets that meet the filter selection criteria. Select the work tickets that you want to print from the grid. All of the work tickets are selected by default. You can manually select and deselect the work tickets in the grid. You can also use the All and None links above the grid to select all of the work tickets or deselect all of the work tickets in the grid. You can change the sorting of the work tickets in the grid by clicking on the heading of the column that you want to use to sort the work tickets. The grid may contain links in the Number fields. If so, you can click on the links to open the actual work tickets.
Include work tickets from: Select the date range for the work tickets that you want to print. You can choose to print work tickets within a standard amount of time such as Today, This Quarter, or This Year-to-Date. The date fields below the Include work tickets from option will automatically fill with the dates that match the selected amount of time. You can also enter a date range if you do not want to use one of the standard date selections. Select Range in the Include work tickets from option and then enter the beginning date and ending date of the range for the work tickets that you want to print. Select All if you want to print work tickets that are dated within the two open years.
Use this form: Select
the form you want to print.
Customize this form: Select this link if you want to customize the selected form. The form will open in the Forms
Design window.
Filter work tickets by: This allows you to further specify the work tickets that you want to print.
Number: If you want to print a particular range of work tickets, select The range below and then enter the beginning work ticket number and the ending work ticket number in the numbered fields. If you want to filter for one particular proposal, select The range below and enter that particular proposal number in both of the numbered fields. Select All if you do not want to filter by proposal number.
Assembly ID: If you want to print work tickets for a particular assembly item or range of assembly items, enter the assembly IDs here. If you want to filter for one assembly item, enter that assembly item's ID in both ID boxes. Leave this filter selection blank if you do not want to filter by assembly ID.
Status: You can select to print all work tickets, only open work tickets, only closed work tickets, only in progress work tickets, or work tickets that are both open and in progress.
