Convert DacEasy Company - Monthly Accounting Periods

How Do I...

Starting dates need to be established for setting up your company and entering data. Once you establish a starting date, Sage 50 will automatically set up monthly accounting periods for your first two fiscal years.

  1. Enter the first month of your first fiscal year, or select it from the drop-down list. Then, enter the year.
  2. Usually, a company's fiscal year starts in January and ends in December. However, some companies start their fiscal year in July and end in June.

  3. Enter the first month that you will be entering data, or select it from the drop-down list. Then, enter the year.
  4. Enter the first year you will be entering payroll, or select it from the drop-down list.
  5. This date determines which payroll taxes should be used during payroll entry. If you do not intend to use payroll, enter the same date as your first fiscal year.

  6. To continue, select the Next button. Sage 50 displays the next Convert DacEasy Company window.
