Copy a Quote

Sage 50 allows you to create a new quote by copying an existing one.

To copy a quote from the Quotes screen:

  1. Go to Tasks>Quotes/Sales Orders/Proposals.
  2. Click the List button.
  3. Open the quote you want to copy.
  4. Click the Copy button.
  5. The new quote appears on the screen.
  6. Add or edit the information on the quote as necessary.
  7. Click Save.
You can also copy a Quote from the Quote List. ClosedHow?
  1. Go to Lists>Customers & Sales>Quotes.
  2. Select the quote you want to copy.
  3. Click the Copy button.
  4. The new quote opens on the Quotes screen.
  5. Add or edit the information on the quote as necessary.
  6. Click Save.
You can also right-click on a quote in the list to choose to copy it.
ClosedWhat information gets copied?

Only the following information from the original quote will be copied to the new quote:

  • Customer
  • Bill to information
  • Ship to information
  • Drop ship designation
  • Ship via information
  • Terms
  • Sales Rep
  • A/R Account
  • Line items
  • Freight
  • Notes

Note: Information on the Track It panel is not copied.
