Restore an Archived Company
You can restore a backup of an archived company to its original location
while in an active company if the original archive files were lost, moved,
or damaged. When restoring an archive company backup, the archived company
is restored, not the active company. To restore an active company, see
Restore
Company Data Files.
To restore an archived company:
- From the File
menu, select Restore Archive.
A Restore Archive window appears.
- Find the archived file you want to restore from
the Look In drop-down list, or
browse to find the file.
The default is the company folder of the company you are currently
using.
- Click the Open
button to restore the archive, or click Cancel
to cancel the restore.
The archive is restored to its original location.
