Message: Not enough disk space
If you want to print these instructions, click Print at the top of the Sage 50 Accounting Help window.
Problem:
This message may appear when you do not have enough disk space to complete a task.
Solution:
- If you are trying to save your data, select the Save As command in the File menu to save it to a storage medium, such as a different hard disk if you have one (for example, if you have a drive C and a drive D, and you normally save your data on drive C, save it on drive D).
- If you are trying to export a file or to exit from Sage 50 Accounting or from the icon window, check the amount of disk space you have. If you are running low, clear some space on the hard disk.
- If you are trying to exit the icon window, in the Home window on the Setup menu, choose User Preferences, then click View. Clear the check mark from one or more of the modules.
- If you are trying to convert or upgrade your data to a new version of Sage 50 Accounting, clear some space on the hard disk and then repeat the conversion process again.
To prevent the condition from recurring, you should clear data and remove unneeded files more often. You may also need to purchase additional hard disk space.
