Turn On or Off Automatic Updates

Sage 50 Accounting can automatically check for software updates whenever you are connected to the Internet. By default, Sage 50 Accounting automatically downloads and installs product updates.

To turn off automatic updates:

1. In the Home window, on the Help menu, select About Sage 50 Accounting and then Support Info....
2. Click Modify Product Update Settings.
3. (Optional) Clear the check box Automatically Download Product Updates to stop Sage 50 Accounting from downloading product updates. and installing updates.
4. (Optional) Clear the check box Automatically Install Product Updates to stop Sage 50 Accounting from installing product updates.
5. Click OK.
