Void a Transaction

To void a transaction:

  1. Open the transaction you want to void
    2. ClosedGeneral Journal entries (include fund transfers)
    1. In the Home window, on the Tools menu, choose For My Accountant, and then General Journal.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
    ClosedSales Invoices
    1. In the Home window, click the Make Sales icon.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
    ClosedReceipts
    1. In the Home window, click the Receive Customer Payments icon.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
    ClosedPurchases Bills
    1. On the right side of the Home window, click Record Purchases.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
    ClosedBill Payments
    1. On the right side of the Home window, click Pay for Purchases.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
    ClosedOther Payments
    1. In the Home window, click the Pay Bills icon.
    2. Click the Look up button , and select the transaction you want to void.
  2. Click the Void button on the toolbar.
  3. To close the transaction window, click OK.
