Clear Account Reconciliation Data
You can clear two types of data used in account reconciliation to free up more space on your hard drive: account reconciliation data and imported online statements.
Before you can perform this task
- Before clearing account reconciliation data, print an Account Reconciliation report, both Summary and Detail, for all status types.
- Make a backup of your data files.
- If you are in multi-user mode, change to single-user mode.
To clear account reconciliation data:
- In the Home window on the Maintenance menu, choose Clear Data, then Clear Account Reconciliation, followed by Clear Account Reconciliation Data.
- In Account, select the bank or credit-card account you reconcile with Sage 50 Accounting.
- In Clear Up To, type or select the ending date on your latest bank or credit-card merchant statement.
- Click OK.
