Import Records from Quicken

To import Quicken addresses into Sage 50 Accounting:

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounting. In the Home window, on the File menu, choose Import/Export, and then Import Records.
  2. When the Import Records Wizard starts, select Quicken.
  3. (Optional) To back up your data, click Back Up and select the backup options
  4. Complete the remaining steps in the Import Records Wizard and click Finish.
  5. Review the records you have imported.

To import Quicken accounts into Sage 50 Accounting:

Note: Accounts can be imported only when you are creating a new company.

  1. In the Home window, from the File menu, select New Company.
  2. In the List of Accounts step, select Have Sage 50 Accounting create a list of accounts from an export file.
  3. In the next window, select Quicken and click Next.
  4. Enter the name of the Quicken account files you want to import. You can also import Quicken files with vendor, customer, and employee records at this time.
  5. Complete the remaining steps in the New Company Setup Wizard and click Finish.
  6. Review the records you have imported.
