Import or Export a Price List
Before you can perform this task
To import a price list:
- In the Home window,
on the File menu, choose Import/Export, and
Import Records.
- Check Import
Price Lists and click Next.
- (Optional) To back up your company,
click Back Up. When the backup is finished,
click Next.
- Enter the location
of the file you want to import, or click Browse
to navigate to the location, and click Next.
- Review the Import
log for errors. Click Print if you need to
fix an entry. If the import was successful, click OK
.
- Click Finish
to close the wizard.
To export a price list:
- In the Home window,
on the File menu, choose Import/Export, and
Export Records.
- Check Export
price lists and click Next.
- Enter a name for
the file you are exporting.
- Enter the destination
that you want the file to be saved to or click Browse
to navigate to a destination and click Next.
- If you use more
than one currency, choose which currency you want the prices exported
in.
- Choose the types
of items you want to export prices for, Inventory, or Service, or both.
- Add a check mark
next to the items you want to export by clicking the
box.
Click Select All to choose everything in
the list.
- If you want to
include inactive items, check the box.
- Click Next.
- Add a check mark
next to the price list(s)
you want to export by clicking the
box. Click Select
All to choose everything in the list.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
